Trust Administration

Trusts, funded with financial assets are used to provide for a family member or other individual, or a favored charity. An individual may establish a trust during their lifetime or upon death. Testamentary Trusts may be revocable or irrevocable, depending upon their purpose and whether tax advantage is sought. If a family member is disabled or incapacitated, trusts are often established to care for their needs.

Trusts are often part of a tax savings strategy, for the donor and/or the recipient, there are rules established to safeguard the funds and to obey tax laws. Noreen Costelloe is experienced with both the financial and legal aspects of establishing and administering trusts.

Once a trust is established and operating, Noreen often serves as legal advisor to the trustee (often a family member), or you may delegate the trustee's duties to her. It is imperative that they be properly administered.
